Gilbert Varga sees in contemporary music a source of unbridled energy, which may be used, for instance, to bring new life to the works of past masters. Hence alongside Paweł Mykietyn’s postmodern Concerto for violin and symphony orchestra, in the interpretation of Marcin Markowicz, we will be hearing Symphony No. 4 – one of Anton Bruckner’s most popular music piece, which the composer called Romantic.
